CLASS OF 2006. WE DID IT.

My mom told me as I left home for the first time to enjoy
college because it would be the bestest and fastest four years of my
life. I didn't believe her at the time, but she was right.

I have finished my last semester, last class, and now, last exam. I can't believe it's over.

Looking over how much I have grown in the last few years, I
stand in awe. I can't believe how much four, short years will change
and shape a person. I am not the same person I was four years ago. Life
is what you make of it. Looking back, everyone will say they have had
regrets, but every mistake and every regret only made me stronger in
the long run. I've hit some rough patches in the last four years, but I
have also experienced some of the best times of my life.

I came to U of I to find myself and grow: personally, as well as spiritually.

I met some amazing people and accomplished some amazing
things. Looking back on the last four years, I can only smile at my
memories, laugh at my regrets, and move on, knowing I always came out a
little bit wiser, a lot more stronger, and most of all, learning a
lesson to add to my book of wisdom.

Thank you for all the memories. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2006!!!

QUICK RECAP 2002-2006

Freshman year: Went to my first small group
@ CFC (met some amazing people although ultimately, it's not for
me), joined a hip-hop dance team-it was exhausting, made some
incredible friends ( LAR GIRLS steph, val, me.) Had bad roomate
experiences, got lucky and moved in with Stephanie second semester.
Pledged Delta Delta Delta sorority, decided it wasn't for me, met Ricky
who insisted I needed to stop being white-washed and find some Asian
friends. *sigh* Asians suck you in. haha j/k I love you guys. Pledge
KDPhi second semester, met two of the most amazing people in my life,
Sarah and Tina. PARTIED like a notorious FRESHMAN!! (b/c I'm allowed
to).

SENIOR YEAR:
This was the hardest freaking year of my life. So many disappointments
so many mistakes, but overall I think I grew the most this year. I
can't believe I survived this last semester with three jobs, working
32-35 hours a week, on top of a 16 hour course load. AHHH!
=) so happy!! highlights: got a chance to be pledge mom evn tho things
didn't work out as well as i thought they would, got to go to
southbeach/orlando with my favorite ppl ever and had the bestest spring
break ever, had crazy thanksgiving/winter breaks as well, made new
friends and rekindled old friendships. GRADUATED.
